ECCRT - Back-office assistant

The European Centre for Clinical Research Training (ECCRT) is a professional clinical research training organisation for the pharma, biotech & medical device industries as well as for investigational and academic groups doing clinical trials. We are focusing on the transfer of implementable knowledge for the day-to-day activities of our participants whether being new to the industry, starters on the job, or seasoned professionals. Our mission is to facilitate Clinical Research professionals to excel in their job for the benefit of patients.


  • Daily Maintenance of the ECCRT Virtual Campus (VC): routine user management, maintenance of open courses, creation of tailored courses/events
  • Involvement in future development of the VC
  • Confirmation (or cancellation) communication with trainers and participants
  • Maintain databases and trackers
  • Coordinate logistics with training/event venues
  • Organise course materials and surveys
  • Agenda Management; Public Outlook Calendar, assist with course schedule
  • Reply to enquiries from customers
  • Maintenance webshop
  • Drive the automation of processes
  • Collect and summarize data for QA meeting
  • Managing Training Records


  • Degree in office management or relevant experience in administrative functions
  • Previous experience with Learning Management Systems is an advantage


  • Passion for IT and comfortable working with online platforms & tools
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (English, Dutch and French)
  • Work independently to a high standard and take initiatives where needed
  • Capacity to plan, set priorities and manage time
  • Personal qualities: motivation, reliability, team spirit
  • Be efficiency driven; looking for continuous improvement for all administrative matters
